1. The “Fake Run”
The key to take beautiful Instagram pictures often is, to just add a bit of movement to the photo. Natural movements work particularly well on Instagram and look super unacted. This is exactly the effect I use in the “Fake Run”. For this Instagram pose, it’s nothing more than walking a bit on the spot and take the picture at the right moment – Super easy and super cute!
Don’t worry if there are some strange bloopers. Once you have caught the right moment, you just have the perfect picture.
2. Throw the hair
For this Instagram posing idea, the same applies as before. So let’s follow rule number one again – We bring movement into the picture. Nothing is better suited for this than hair. Throw it from the front, from the back, from the side – even if you are a bit camera shy, you will be able to take such super cute Instagram pictures with this easy posing idea.
Another posing tip here, always look up and raise your head. From behind, hair looks much longer and from the side you just cheat away any double chin.
3. Change the perspective
Nobody wants boring photos, but often you look at a picture and don’t really know why it didn’t work out. My experience as a photographer has taught me that the human eye often finds perspectives particularly interesting that it isn’t used to.
So in order to take beautiful pictures, sometimes you just have to change the perspective for cute and easy Instagram poses. Incidentally, this applies in both directions. Lie down on the ground and take pictures towards the sky. Or look for a hill and take photos from top to bottom. In both ways, a pose does not even have to be particularly unusual. The angle or view only makes the picture something very special.

4. Use props
Of course, this can be anything, that doesn’t seem unnatural. It should be something that fits the picture in one way or another. Since I am located in the travel niche, for me e.g. palm leaves, flowers or hats are working wonders in pictures. But also glasses, scarves, skateboards etc. can be a good way to take your Instagram pictures to the next level.
By the way, with this Instagram posing idea the hands are usually busy, so you do not have to worry about where to place them. Try it! There are so many possibilities for this cute and easy Instagram poses.
5. Hands up
Hands – where to place them? Often hands in photos look very weird, because you do not know what to do with them. Once you placed them in an unnnatural way the photos start looking strange.
Again, my personal Instagram posing tip is a very simple one – MOVE. Surprise, surprise – to the sky or in the hair – no matter, because everything works.
Often I also close my eyes when I take my arms up. In pictures it seems as if you are completely in harmony with yourself and your environment. In addition, I don’t have to worry about my facial expression and that is clearly another advantage.
6. Turned back
Ok, this is probably the most famous pose on social media ever. Really anyone can do it and the guarantee of success is 100%.
Just turn your back to the camera, look into the sky, so that the hair looks good and there you go. At first it may be a bit strange not to look into the camera, but in the end it will be the pose that just always works. Especially in beautiful places, the pose works particularly well and gives the travel blogger vibe without much effort.
7. Follow Me – Pose
If you are traveling with your boyfriend or often take pictures together with a friend, then be sure to try this pose! So simple, but such a cool perspective and an easy way to spice up Instagram pictures.
Just turn your back to the camera, put your hand in your photographer’s hand and the picture is already perfect. It really is as easy as this. If you shoot with Iphone make sure to use the portrait mode, so you get a really cool bokeh here. Absolute recommendation!

8. Twirl
Here’s the first thing: This photo posing idea works best with long dresses or skirts.
I used to wear no dresses at all, but now they are an essential part of my travel wardrobe. Often I just have one with me to quickly change into it for taking a photo.
Just twirl back and forth a few times and you have a great photo with a lot of movement. I love it when skirts move with the wind. This gives the photo such a special touch and makes it a real eye-catcher.
9. Get on the floor with
Whether cross-legged, one knee up or even lying on the floor – everything is allowed and everything works. By the way, this applies to model and photographer, because this is the only way to find the right angle for multiple cute and easy instagram poses.
Just change your perspective and try new poses, that’s the key to taking beautiful Instagram pictures. In order to have a certain diversity in your photos, it is always good to go atypical ways. On the one hand, this seems interesting for the viewer, on the other hand, one creates completely new perspectives of already known places.

Ok, I admit that jumping pictures don’t like me that much. You have an insane amount of failed attempts and it isn’t done quickly. But if it works, the result is super cool. Even if I don’t use this posing idea very often, I want to encourage you to really try it.
This way it works best: Count to 3 and jump. However, the photographer or timer should take the picture at 4. So you are definitely already in the air and not just at the beginning of your jump.
For making the best out of this posing idea, I recommend you to jump from the side into the picture and stretch your legs while jumping. This way it will looks much more elegant. And if all of this doesn’t work out, you definitely have something to laugh about.
